If you are new to driving an electric car, it is quite simple. To get going, all you do is select Drive Mode by flicking a lever behind the steering wheel and push the accelerator as you would in a standard automatic car. Note that there is only one gear, so you will accelerate smoothly and effortlessly without gear change.
Stopping uses strong regenerative braking that helps recharge the battery and causes the car to decelerate as soon as you lift your foot off the pedal. You will soon get used to it! The Tesla X features Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive and adaptive air suspension that delivers unparalleled performance in all weather conditions.
